The Earthquake Engineering, Coastal Sciences and Engineering, and Textile Engineering master's programs have been awarded the prestigious EUR-ACE quality label!

In a first for Türkiye at the graduate level, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) has received EUR-ACE quality labels for its Earthquake Engineering, Coastal Sciences and Engineering, and Textile Engineering master's programs. These labels follow successful MÜDEK accreditation granted in the previous term. The EUR-ACE quality labels, issued by ENAEE (the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) of which MÜDEK is a member, were formally presented during a ceremony attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal; Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. İpek Akın Karadayı; representatives from MÜDEK; Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Fatma Seniha Güner; MÜDEK Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Reşat Oyguç; and the heads of the relevant academic departments.

At the ceremony, it was emphasized that ITU remains committed to continuous improvement in educational excellence. Efforts to expand MÜDEK accreditation to additional graduate programs will continue, and steps toward institutionalizing and sustaining these accreditations were reviewed.
