Doctoral Thesis Proposal and Progress Report Upload Processes

Dear Students,

In collaboration with the ITU Information Technology Department, the Doctoral Thesis Proposal/Progress Report Upload and Defense Minutes processes have been launched in the Process Management Application, which is being developed for our university's graduate education processes. The processes that have been opened for use can be accessed through the Student Process Management Interface tab in the new generation student information system (https://kepler-beta.itu.edu.tr).

In the Process Management Interface, students who have not yet determined their doctoral thesis monitoring committee must complete the committee process via https://leebasvuru.itu.edu.tr/. Otherwise, they will not be able to submit their reports. Students who experience issues while completing the committee process can create a help ticket to the LEE Information Technology unit.

The following conditions must be met for the Doctoral Thesis Proposal and Progress Report Upload processes to be initiated:
    •    The thesis monitoring committee must be determined.
    •    No leave of absence for the term must be taken.
    •    Registration for the thesis course.
    •    Only one report can be submitted per term.

The process steps are as follows:
    •    The student uploads their report.
    •    The uploaded report is approved by the advisor or returned to the student for re-uploading.
    •    The defense of the report approved by the advisor through the system must be conducted within 21 working days, and the wet-signed minutes filled out during the defense (https://lee.itu.edu.tr/ogrenciler/belgeler) must be uploaded to the system by the advisor.
    •    The minutes are checked by the institute, and the result is recorded in the system.

The final date for report submission is July 26 at 17:00. The minutes must be uploaded to the system within 21 working days following the report upload date.
