As the Istanbul Technical University Graduate School, a new Microcredit Term has been launched in order to enrich the educational experience of our graduate students. Within this framework, students will have the opportunity to earn 1 ECTS credit, which will be recorded in their Diploma Supplement, by participating in extracurricular activities.

Accordingly, students who select one of the two offered courses and complete a total of 30 hours of extracurricular activities will be eligible to earn ECTS credit. Through this system, students are encouraged to engage in social, cultural, and professional activities that complement their academic education.

In order to enroll in microcredit courses, students must have a current cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
