TU12 Joint Elective Graduate Courses Announcement for Students of Technical Universities

Within the scope of the Union of Technical Universities (TU12), a total of 19 joint elective graduate courses are proposed to be delivered online in the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year, open to graduate students of all technical universities. Of these courses, 12 will be offered in Turkish and 7 in English, and the application/approval and enrollment processes will be coordinated by the relevant institutes in line with quotas and institutional procedures.

2025–2026 Spring Special Student Admissions

Applications for special student status for the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year will be accepted between February 9, 2026 and February 13, 2026.

The application process for the 2025–2026 Spring Term Master’s and PhD programs at Istanbul Technical University Graduate School has officially started.

Notification on the Thesis Submission Process for Students Who Will Submit Their PhD Theses in the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

PhD students who will submit their theses in the 2025–2026 Fall semester are required to complete the thesis submission process via the Process Management Student Interface on OBS by January 2, 2026. The required documents and submission details are outlined in this announcement.

Thesis Submission Process Notification for Graduate Students Submitting Their Master's Thesis in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year

Master's students who are in their 6th semester in the 2025-2026 Fall semester must submit their theses by January 2, 2026, the end of the 2025-2026 Fall semester, via the Process Management Student Interface on https://obs.itu.edu.tr.

Submission of Doctoral Thesis Proposal/Monitoring Reports

The submission of Doctoral Thesis Proposal/Monitoring Reports will be made through the Student Process Management Interface tab in the Process Management Application available in the Student Information Management System (https://obs.itu.edu.tr).

Graduation Ceremonies for Doctoral and Master's Degrees for the 2024-2025 Academic Year were Held

As ITU Graduate School, the graduation ceremonies we organized for our graduates who successfully completed their doctoral and master's programs in the 2024-2025 academic year were held with great enthusiasm on July 11 and 12, 2025. A total of 1,671 alumni (371 PhD, 1,300 Master's) celebrated this special milestone of their academic careers with their families, faculty and friends.
