Eligibility for Participation

• Only graduates who have been awarded the Ph.D. degree by a decision of the Graduate School Executive Board between July 17, 2025 and June 30, 2026 (inclusive) are eligible to participate in the ceremony.
• Graduates who receive their doctoral degree after this period will not be able to attend this year's ceremony and will be invited to participate in next year's graduation ceremony.

Academic Regalia (Gown – Stole – Cap)

• Graduates who have completed the online registration process can obtain their academic gowns from the 1773 ITU Sales Outlet (ITU Ayazağa Campus) between 09:00–18:00, including on the day of the ceremony.
• Price: 1,800 TL (Cash or credit card)

Rehearsal

All graduates who will be attending the ceremony are expected to participate in the rehearsal. Graduates who are unable to attend the rehearsal will still be permitted to attend the ceremony; however, participation in the rehearsal is highly important to help prevent any issues on the day of the ceremony and ensure that the event runs smoothly.

Arrival Times on Ceremony Day

Participants are required to arrive at the venue no later than:

• Morning Session: 08:30
• Afternoon Session: 13:00

Stage Line-Up

All graduates must visit the Graduate School Desk to receive their stage sequence number.

• Morning Session: Please proceed to the assembly area on the top floor at 09:15.
• Afternoon Session: Please proceed to the assembly area on the top floor at 13:45.

Diploma Presentation

Graduates who have already collected their diploma but wish to participate in the diploma presentation ceremony must submit their diploma no later than:

July 1, 2026 – 16:00

Diplomas cannot be submitted or collected by advisors or family members on behalf of the graduate.

Guest Attendance

Each graduate may invite up to two family members as guests.

As seating capacity is limited, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
