Dear Student,

The thesis submission for the 2025–2026 Fall semester will be carried out through the Student Interface under the Process Management section on https://obs.itu.edu.tr. According to Article 7 of the Higher Education Postgraduate Regulation titled "Duration",

“ MADDE 7 – (1) Tezli yüksek lisans programının süresi bilimsel hazırlıkta geçen süre hariç, kayıt olduğu programa ilişkin derslerin verildiği dönemden başlamak üzere, her dönem için kayıt yaptırıp yaptırmadığına bakılmaksızın dört yarıyıl olup, program en çok altı yarıyılda tamamlanır.”

In line with this article, master's students who are in their 6th semester in the 2025–2026 Fall semester must upload the following thesis-related documents digitally via the Process Management Student Interface on https://obs.itu.edu.tr by the end of the semester, January 02, 2026:

i. Abstracts of the thesis in both Turkish and English

ii. Thesis title

iii. The result section of the plagiarism report (do not upload the full thesis)

iv. An acceptance letter for a paper or proceeding derived from the thesis, presented at a national or international conference, in which Istanbul Technical University (ITU) is listed among the student’s affiliated institutions

Note: Students whose final period is the Fall semester of the 2025–2026 academic year (6th semester) and who have not applied for thesis submission are required to first submit their thesis submission application via the https://obs.itu.edu.tr system before 02 January 2026.

After the thesis submission application is reviewed by the relevant staff, the thesis submission approval is granted, and the student is notified through the system
