The "LEE Student Day" event, organized for the first time this year as Istanbul Technical University Graduate School, was held on October 7, 2025, at Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center (SDKM) and ITU Sports Facilities.
In the event that brought the ITU family together throughout the day; after the opening speeches, presentations and panels were held on different themes such as entrepreneurship, leadership and artificial intelligence. Participants had the opportunity to interact with representatives from the sector as well as share academic knowledge.
ASELSAN, one of the special guests of the event, added value to the program with its special session and contributions. In addition, the presentation of psychological counseling and guidance provided important gains for the personal development of the students.
Simultaneously with the sessions at SDKM, a volleyball tournament was held at ITU Sports Hall and an archery event was held at ITU Stadium-Archery Shooting Area in order to increase social interaction and support team spirit. In these enjoyable events that lasted throughout the day, students, academics and administrative staff came together and had unforgettable moments.
4 teams of 8 people competed in the volleyball tournament and gift certificates were presented to the first team "Thesis Head" and the second team "Experiment Team".
Throughout the day, various treats and gifts prepared with the contributions of ASELSAN were presented to the participants.
LEE Student Day, which was held for the first time, was remembered as a meeting that strengthened the academic and social solidarity of the ITU Graduate Education Institute community and increased motivation.
